The website design and concept work The Story Web Design & Marketing completed for Maple Grove was outstanding! We had a functional site which was tired looking and provided very little “WOW” to prospective campers and parents. It said very little about who we really were. The Story Web Design took the time to understand our mission and our culture and translated this knowledge into an exciting new face for our camp. This past summer was one of our most successful ever and we believe that the new website had a direct impact on capturing the attention of our prospective campers and rental groups.
Maple Grove Christian Retreat Centre is provides retreat and camping programs and facilities and needed to showcase their programs and facilities in a modern, professional way, to make it easy for site visitors to understand who Maple Grove is and the value that they offer. Maple Grove is targeting people who want a Christian campground for themselves, their kids, or their church group.
Maple Grove needed to refresh their whole brand, including their logo, which had been designed decades ago.
Our Approach and the Result
The Story Web Design & Marketing provided many logo design concepts for Maple Grove to choose from. After a few rounds of changes and tweaks, the new logo was selected. The new logo has since been used for more than a website, business card and letter head. The logo was a big hit and has been used in lots of paraphernalia, including hats, t shirts, baby clothing and even a fire pit design.
The Story provided a two unique of concepts for the website design. Maple Grove chose the new look with a few modifications. The website was developed, mobile responsive, in WordPress. Throughout the website are actual pictures of the facilities and the campers of Maple Grove.
Since the website was developed in WordPress, Maple Grove is able to make most of the changes without having to rely on an outside provider.
