Ecommerce Websites Built To Sell

For most multi-location companies, launching a new location online means manual page builds, developer queues, and delays that slow down the business. Each page is built from scratch. Each one takes too long. And each one comes out slightly different.

Most Ecommerce Sites Treat The Storefront Like An Afterthought

Plenty of platforms make it easy to put products online. Almost none of them help you actually sell. The result is a store that exists, takes payments, but isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do — drive growing revenue.

What An Ecommerce Site Should Actually Do

Convert

Product pages that answer real buyer questions. Clear pricing. Fast checkout. Trust signals where buyers need them. Designed to remove friction at every step.

Get Found

Ecommerce SEO baked in from the start — schema markup for products, structured category pages, fast load times, and content patterns that help your products surface in Google and AI-powered search.

Handle Real-World Complexity

Dynamic pricing for different customer types. Member pricing. B2B portals with custom catalogs. Volume discounts. Bulk material calculators. Whatever your business actually needs, we can build it.

Scale

Membership systems, ecommerce, dynamic pricing, custom calculators, integrations, multi-location infrastructure, sponsorship management — built right when standard solutions won’t do the job.

Ecommerce Platforms And Capabilities

We build ecommerce websites in WordPress using WooCommerce. It gives us the flexibility to create stores that match how your business actually sells, especially when standard ecommerce setups are too limited.

WooCommerce

Best for businesses that need flexibility and control — custom pricing rules, B2B and wholesale catalogs, complex product types, member pricing, customer-specific content, and deeper integrations with WordPress. WooCommerce is what we use when standard ecommerce platforms can’t handle the requirements.

Custom Ecommerce Capabilities

For stores with more complex needs, we can build custom functionality such as calculators, quote requests, approval-based ordering, regional shipping rules, subscriptions, product filtering, or integrations with inventory, accounting, CRM, and fulfillment systems.

The Brief

When Clearview started looking for a new website, they just wanted one that looked better.  But after they engaged with The Story Web Design & Marketing, they realized that they could get a website that would allow their customers to find the information that they need.  This would save time for them and increase convenience for their customers.

The Approach

Clearview wanted their clients – retail, wholesale, and landscapers – to use the website to find the products and detailed product information they needed.  It was essential to provide unique pricing levels for different types of customers.  The Story and Clearview planned for both what they need now and what they want for the future, including additional information, such as product FAQs and explainer videos.

Clearview spent time working through the information that was going to be in the products, and then our team put the right information in the database so they could have everything they needed for their interactive product and pricing system.

The Results

Clearview loves how much more professional-looking their website is now, but even more important is the functionality.

Clearview’s customers wanted access to online pricing – especially landscape and wholesale clients.  Having a system that provides up-to-date pricing, product information, and a buying request system saves their team valuable time, which is especially needed during peak season.

And they love the bulk material calculator, since they get so many calls from people trying to figure out how much soil or mulch or gravel they need.  This is a real time saver and convenience provider for their clients.

We love our website. The Story delivered on what they said they would, both in the time frame we needed and at the price we agreed to – with no surprises. They continue to provide excellent support after the launch.

search engines need. We also offer ongoing SEO and AIEO services for stores that want to actively grow organic traffic.

Smaller stores start around $10,000. Most ecommerce projects fall in the $20,000 to $75,000 range, depending on platform, custom functionality, integrations, and product complexity. Every quote is fixed up front.

Yes. We regularly migrate stores from one platform to another — typically from a closed platform to WooCommerce or Shopify. We handle product data, customer data, order history, redirects, and SEO preservation.

Yes. We build custom integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, ERP systems, fulfillment providers, payment gateways, and other business systems. Most growing ecommerce businesses need at
